How Golden Skulls Inc — doing business as Richard Aceves, Moved Academy, and Movement Ayahuasca — collects, uses, and protects your information on richardaceves.com.
Richardaceves.com is the personal-brand home of Richard Aceves, operated by Golden Skulls Inc (“Richard Aceves”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains what we collect when you browse, fill in a form, book a call, or buy a program, and what we do with it. It covers this website. Checkout, scheduling, and shipping for some offers happen on sister platforms — Moved Academy on Thinkific, the MOVED Store on Shopify, Movement Ayahuasca’s retreat site, and Zoom scheduling — and those platforms have their own privacy notices.
By using this website you agree to this policy. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. Questions: email info@richardaceves.com.
What we collect automatically
When you open a page, our host records standard request data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this to keep the site reliable, spot abuse, and understand which pages help people find the right next step. We do not sell this data.
What you choose to give us
You can read the site without creating an account. If you use a form, we collect the fields you submit, which may include:
Name and email address (lead magnet, speaking inquiry, newsletter)
Phone number, if you include one
Event or coaching details you type into a message
Course checkout, retreat registration, and store orders collect payment and shipping details on Thinkific, Shopify, or the retreat site — not on this website. Booking a call collects whatever Zoom Scheduler asks for on that page.
How we use it
Send the resource or confirmation you asked for
Answer questions and book calls, workshops, or speaking dates
Run and improve the website, including analytics
Meet legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with unaffiliated marketers. Service providers who send email, host the site, process payments, or schedule calls only receive what they need to do that job.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.
Cookies and analytics
The site may set cookies required to run the pages and, if configured, analytics cookies that help us see which pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may then work less smoothly. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because there is no consistent standard across browsers.
Your choices
Email info@richardaceves.com to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to unsubscribe from marketing. Transactional messages about a purchase you already made may still be sent. We keep records as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements.
Security and incidents
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No internet transmission is guaranteed secure. If we become aware of a breach that creates a reasonable risk of harm, we will notify affected people as required by law — typically by email and a notice on this site.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the bottom will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy. We will not use information we already hold in a materially different way without asking.
