Proof & Results

Proof, not promises.

Anyone can say they get results. Here's what actually happened when specific people brought specific problems into an assessment — who they were, what they were stuck with, what got identified, and what shifted.

Case studies

The pattern behind the pain, before and after.

Chronic pain

Campbell

Who they were
A client scheduled for hip replacement surgery, already resigned to the idea that surgery was the only option left.
What they were stuck with
Hip pain that had been building for years, with a surgical date already on the calendar.
What Richard identified
The joint itself wasn't the whole story — the pattern of bracing and displaced tension around it was doing most of the damage.
What shifted
Out of pain in the first session. The surgery was cancelled that week, and the training has continued with intention since.
"Two years ago we arrived in Amsterdam, met with Richard and he got me out of pain during our first session. That forever changed my life. It was incredible and we cancelled my surgery that week. I train with intention now. I move better and I’m no longer in pain."

Chronic pain

A private client

Who they were
Someone who assumed heavier loading would aggravate a hip and lower back that were already tight most mornings.
What they were stuck with
Recurring hip and back tightness that showed up daily, regardless of stretching or rest.
What Richard identified
The tightness was a protection pattern, not a loading problem — the body was bracing instead of trusting the joint.
What shifted
Calmer under load, the best night's sleep in months, and no hip or back tightness the next morning.
"That session helped so much. Who knew that going heavier would relieve the hip pain? Also, I felt so calm afterward; it was like stress left the body with each rep. It has been the best night’s sleep in months, and there is no hip or back tightness in the morning!"

Athlete / high performer

A gym client

Who they were
An athlete pushing sled drags, sprints, and heavy belt squats — the kind of load that usually exposes old compensation patterns.
What they were stuck with
Hip pain that had been quietly limiting how hard she could train.
What Richard identified
Once the compensation pattern was retrained, the hip stopped absorbing load it was never built to take.
What shifted
Zero hip pain through a full session of sled work, sprints, and heavy squats — and other coaches noticed the change in how she moved.
"Okkkk had the best sesh today! Did sled drags, sprints and pushes. Belt squat/marches, calf raises — that was intense. Zero hip pain! The guy who owns the gym came up and said hi, and the first thing he said to me was that I was moving way better."

Emotionally stuck

Hunter

Who they were
A client carrying past events and trauma that had nothing to do with a specific joint or injury.
What they were stuck with
A body holding tension tied to old experiences, not a training problem in the usual sense.
What Richard identified
The nervous system needed to feel safe before anything else could change — regulation first, loading second.
What shifted
A new sense of motivation, peace with the past, and a felt sense of becoming a better man.
"I have a new sense of motivation and being able to get over past events and traumas in my life has really given me peace and joy, and I just feel like I'm a better man."

Credibility, not the main pitch

What coaches say after training with Richard.

Moved Academy coaches see the same pattern-recognition applied to their own clients. Their results are proof of the method too — not just the 1:1 work.

As a newer coach, I used to feel insecure about not having all the answers. After taking the Fundamentals Course, I finally feel like I have a system to lean on. I can assess, communicate, and coach with confidence. Honestly, this should be the baseline for anyone who calls themselves a coach.

A system to lean on

The coolest part of certification is the assessment work. Uploading those assessments and getting Richard's feedback gives you confidence you're doing it right — and turns everything you've learned into practice you can use to help people.

Confidence from real feedback

Richard's passion and knowledge made the learning experience enjoyable, and I was able to apply what I learned to help my athletes overcome recurring pain and injuries. Highly recommend this course to any coach looking to elevate their athletes' performance.

The course added so much depth to what I already do on a daily basis. The depth of the concepts were brought to life with simple and practical applications on the gym floor.

More confident coaching

This course has taught me how to approach the body as an ecosystem rather than fragmented parts, which is one of the most common themes of today's fitness industry. It's broken down to the point that non-personal trainers or coaches would even understand and put immediately into practice.

The body as an ecosystem

I always found it overwhelming to spot imbalances and give the right homework. This material gave me the confidence to go and truly help my clients.

Confidence spotting imbalances

Training with Richard at Moved Academy redefined what I thought was possible through coaching. He showed me ways to find the root causes of pain — which let me make much better progress with clients dealing with things like shoulder and hip pain. I've been able to keep people at my gym consistently because I'm getting them results.
